Hi, I’m Johan Lennartsson, a photographer based in Sweden. Although I mostly photograph nature (please visit www.johanlennartsson.com), I also have an attraction to aviation.
I photograph aircraft from the classic pioneers of aviation to fighter jets of today, with a particular fascination for the history, engineering, and atmosphere surrounding them.
My goal is to create more than a record of an aircraft. I look for images that capture the character of the machine, the energy of flight, and the emotion of aviation—whether it’s a vintage biplane taking to the sky, a historic warbird in flight, or a modern fighter tearing through an airshow display.
